Objective To evaluate the effect of virtual reality(VR)on symptoms and rehabilitation management of breast cancer pa-tients.Methods Randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental studies of virtual reality technology intervention on symptoms and re-habilitation management of breast cancer patients were searched in the Cochrane Library,CINAHL,Medline,PubMed,Embase,Web of Sci-ence,China Biomedical Literature Database,CNKI,Wanfang Data,Weipu Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals. The limited time was from the establishment of the database to June 20,2022.RevMan 5.3.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results A total of 10 studies involving 674 patients were included.Meta-analysis showed that virtual reality technology intervention could improve the negative emotion, pain and postoperative shoulder joint mobility of breast cancer patients(P<0.01).Conclusion As a non-drug intervention, virtual reality technology can improve the negative emotion, pain and postoperative shoulder joint mobility of breast cancer patients. In the future, large sam-ple and high-quality studies are still needed to further verify the effectiveness of virtual reality intervention on symptoms and rehabilitation management of breast cancer patients.
