Based on the physiological characteristics of children“the liver is often excessive, the spleen is often insufficient, the lung is often insufficient, the kidney is often deficient”,Professor ZHANG Shiqing carefully explores the pathogenesis of these two kinds diseases-children’s tic disorder and neurotic urinary frequency with complex etiology, which are characterized with repeated attacks, and easy co-occurrence.Professor ZHANG Shiqing suggests that the liver and spleen are responsible for the early stage of tic disorder and neurotic urinary frequency in children and the lung and kidney are involved in the later stage. In the treatment, the prescription principle of“to start with classical prescription, and finish with current prescriptions”is applied, and the formula is made on the basis of the Chaihu and Longgu Muli decoction(柴胡加龙骨牡蛎汤),and the principle of regulating Qi(气)is taken as the key,and harmonizes the five Zang(五脏)organs.Good clinical results are achieved by analyzing symptoms and finding causes and making dialectical treatment plan based on syndrome differentiation.A classic clinical case is attached to illustrate.
