摘要:To the Editor:Aging can cause changes in human metabolic capacity[1]and metabolic syndrome is one of the important causes of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).In recent years,T2DM has become one of the top ten killers of humans.[2]T2DM has been reported in≥25%of the population aged over 65 years.[3]The liver is the most important metabolic center and its metabolic disorders are associated with T2DM.
