摘要：杨守忠与美国蓝罂粟出版社的翻译与出版合作,堪称中医典籍海外传播的典范。以双方合作的10部中医典籍英译本为研究对象,借助译者、出版社、用户平台三元框架梳理合作机制,基于功能对等理论与读者接受理论分析亚马逊用户评价。研究发现,杨守忠的补偿译翻、功能对等调整、分层锚定等策略,以及术语分层注释、学术谱系注释、古今对照注释等翻译方法,与蓝罂粟兼顾“学术-实用”的定位及出版机制形成协同。双方选书理念契合,译法协商互补,提升了翻译、出版质量与效能。西方用户在亚马逊反馈中,接受度聚焦于术语标准化、文化阐释深度及临床应用可行性。研究揭示了中医典籍海外翻译策略、出版机制与用户接受的路径,为中医药文化国际传播提供了可操作范式。
The translation and publishing collaboration between Yang Shouzhong and the American Blue Poppy Press stands as a model for the overseas dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)classics.This study takes the 10 English translations of TCM classics resulting from their collaboration as the research object,sorts out the cooperation mechanism through the tripartite framework of translators,publishing houses,and user platforms,and analyzes Amazon user reviews based on the theories of functional equivalence and reader reception.The study finds that Yang Shouzhong's strategies such as compensatory translation,functional equivalence adjustment,and hierarchical anchoring,as well as translation methods including hierarchical annotation of terms,academic genealogy annotation,and ancient-modern comparison annotation,are in synergy with Blue Poppy's positioning of balancing"academic value and practicality"and publishing mechanism.The two parties share consistent concepts in book selection,and their negotiation and complementarity in translation methods have improved the quality and efficiency of translation and publishing.In their feedback on Amazon,Western users'acceptance focuses on terminology standardization,depth of cultural interpretation,and feasibility of clinical application.This study reveals the paths of overseas translation strategies,publishing mechanisms,and user acceptance of TCM classics,providing an operable paradigm for the international communication of TCM culture.
