摘要：我国现行的普通话水平测试,对同是语音要素的声母、韵母,声调基本是"一视同仁"的,普通话教学则由于各种原因出现"声(母)、韵(母)中心"模式,可喜的是在"一边倒"的理论氛围中出现了"声调中心论,"但教学的状况并没有得到多大改善,本文从声调的音位负担这个角度入手来看声调的重要性,既为"声调中心论"助威叫好,又为普通话教学提个醒:声调是最为重要的语音要素。
In current Mandarin proficiency test, the tone, the initial of a syllable and the final of a syllable are treated equally without discrimination, while in Mandarin teaching, there are ＂initials-centered＂ and ＂finals-centered＂ patterns because of various reasons. To our great joy, there also arises a ＂tone-centered＂ view under such an ＂initial-dominated＂ or ＂final-dominated＂ theoretical circumstance. But the teaching situation has not been improved much. In the article, the author analyses the importance of tone from tone＇s phonemic burden. In doing so, the author not only cheers for ＂tone-centered＂ view, but also reminds the mandarin teaching that tone is the most important phonetic element.
