摘要：定西地区经济的发展在近代半殖民地半封建化的总趋势中,呈现出自身独有的特点:近代化进程艰难而缓慢;总体经济水平落后,部分产业突出;在抗战时期经济得到了短暂的发展机会。
In the general process of semi-colonization and semi-feudalization,the economic development of Ding Xi area presents some specific characteristics： The modernization of Ding Xi area is difficult and slow;The general level of economic development is low, but some industries are quite outstanding; During the anti-Japanese war period,Ding Xi had gained a short chance to develop its economics.There are also some factors which restricted Ding Xi＇s economic development： high degree centralization of the farmland; war and natural disasters; and the farmer＇s passive view of ＂a little wealth is enough＂.
