By analyzing the original text of Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases and related literature, this paper explores Zhang Zhongjing＇ s experience in treating lung system diseases by purgation method form the following aspects ： theoretical basis, therapeutic method, characteristics of prescription and syndrome, medication.
