摘要：作为语言,英语在我国的教学中一直在强调它的功能作用。当语言教学囿于符号、结构和功能时,它就失去了灵魂——情感交流和文化传递。语言是形式,文化是内容。所以最优化的大学英语教学方法无疑是通过由表及里对人类共同思想、灵魂、情感、理智的挖掘,汲取西方人文文化中的精髓,丰富学生的精神生活,提高他们的人文素质和修养,培养他们高尚的情操和正确的人生观,这才是大学英语课程魅力永不凋谢的动力来源!
As a language, English is being emphasized on its functions in teaching in China for many years. Once language teaching is constrained by symbols, structures and functions, it will lose its soul emotional exchange and euhure transmission. Language is a form, but culture is the content. Both of them can＇t be separated. Therefore, the most effective college English teaching is to dig out common human thoughts, souls, emotions and senses from external to internal in order to draw on the essence of western humanistic culture, to enrich students＇ spiritual life, to better their cultural qualities, to cultivate their noble sentiments and a positive outlook on life. That＇ s the source of college English being charming.
