摘要:RNA结合基序蛋白15(RBM15)是一类有N端RNA识别基序(RRM)和C端Spen旁系/直系同源物(SPOC)结构的蛋白质。RBM15以N6-甲基腺苷(m6A)修饰依赖性方式或独立于m6A修饰的方式调节mRNA表达、神经干细胞分化、营养物质代谢和遗传稳态等过程。近年研究发现,RBM15与肿瘤发生发展密切相关。本文详细阐述了RBM15的功能,及其与多种肿瘤发生发展的关系,为临床上探讨靶向RBM15作为肿瘤治疗的新策略提供可靠依据。
RNA binding motif protein 15(RBM15)belongs to a class of proteins characterized by an N-terminal RNA recognition motif(RRM)and a C-terminal Spen paralog and ortholog C-terminal(SPOC)structure.RBM15 plays pivotal roles in modulating mRNA expression,guiding neural stem cell differentiation,regulating nutrient metabolism,and maintaining genetic homeostasis.Its influence on these cellular processes can either be dependent on N6-methyladenosine(m6A)modifications or occur independently of m6A.In recent years,RBM15 has emerged as a key player closely associated with tumorigenesis and developmental processes.This paper delves into intricate details regarding the multifaceted functions of RBM15 and its intricate interplay with the development of various tumors.These findings offer a robust foundation for the potential clinical exploitation of RBM15 as a novel therapeutic target in the fight against cancer.
