摘要:Rhizosphere microbial dysbiosis is a major constraint on the growth, health, and medicinal quality of Angelica sinensis. In this study, five multifunctional indigenous bacterial strains were isolated from the rhizosphere of healthy plants and evaluated through field inoculation experiments combined with soil physicochemical analysis, microbiome sequencing, and untargeted metabolomics. Among the tested strains, Bradyrhizobium sp. AR1 showed the most comprehensive benefits. It exhibited the strongest siderophore-producing capacity and increased soil organic carbon, available phosphorus, and available potassium during the early growth stage. Bradyrhizobium sp. AR1 inoculation significantly increased fresh root weight, enlarged taproot diameter by 16.9%, and reduced disease incidence by 70.7%. During the period of high root rot incidence, Bradyrhizobium sp. AR1 increased the relative abundance of Gemmatimonas by 33.2%, enriched potentially beneficial taxa, including Gammaproteobacteria, Oxalobacteraceae, Chitinophagaceae, and Sphingomonas, and reduced potential pathogens. It also induced significant changes in the relative abundance of oleuropein, rubusoside, 3-methyldioxyindole, L-phenylalanine, and coniferyl ferulate. The other strains exerted more selective effects on root development and specific bioactive compounds. Changes in bacterial and fungal communities were significantly associated with soil physicochemical properties, particularly available potassium, available phosphorus, soil organic carbon, and pH. These results suggest that the superior performance of Bradyrhizobium sp. AR1 resulted from coordinated improvements in nutrient availability, beneficial microbial recruitment, pathogen suppression, taproot development, and defense-related metabolism. Therefore, Bradyrhizobium sp. AR1 represents a promising indigenous bioinoculant for improving the health, root biomass, and medicinal quality of A. sinensis. ? 2026, The Authors.
