摘要：普遍认为女性农民工在就业中处于边缘地位是教育水平低、劳动技能缺乏等自身素质决定的,本文通过对女性农民工就业特征和过程的分析,认为女性农民工在就业方面面临城乡差别和性别差异双重挤压,使女性农民工游离于城市的边缘,社会权利得不到保障。提出推进户籍制度改革、加强就业保障制度、倡导性别平等、增强就业的正规化等方式解决女性农民工面临的就业困境。
It is universally acknowledged that the low levels of education,lack of work skills and self-determined quality marginalize the employment of female migrant workers.In this paper,the author proposes that women migrant workers face a double squeeze of urban-rural divide and gender difference in employment so that the women migrant workers separated from the city and social rights are not guaranteed.The paper also suggests reforming the household registration system,strengthening the employment security system,promoting the gender equality and regularizating the employment are all necessary to solve the female migrant workers＇ difficulties in employment.
