摘要:糖尿病(DM)是一种高血糖慢性代谢性疾病,由胰岛素缺陷或抵抗引起,其并发症如心血管疾病、神经病变和肾病等是致死和致残的主要原因。随着患病率上升,研究其发病机制和开发治疗策略迫在眉睫。环状RNA(circRNA)是一类具有组织特异性和高度稳定性的非编码RNA分子,可调节miRNA活性、结合蛋白和调控基因转录。本综述总结了circRNA在糖尿病及其并发症(如肾病、视网膜病变、心肌病和脑病)中的研究进展。研究表明,circRNA在这些并发症中表达异常,通过调控信号通路、炎症反应及凋亡相关基因表达参与病理过程,有望成为新型生物标志物和治疗靶点。
Diabetes mellitus(DM)is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia,resulting from insulin deficiency or resistance.Its complications,such as cardiovascular disease,neuropathy,and nephropathy,are major causes of mortality and morbidity.With the rising prevalence of DM,understanding its pathogenesis and developing therapeutic strategies are of utmost urgency.Circular RNA(circRNA)is a class of tissue-specific,highly stable non-coding RNA molecules that can regulate miRNA activity,bind proteins,and modulate gene transcription.This review summarizes recent progress in the roles of circRNA in DM and its complications,including nephropathy,retinopathy,cardiomyopathy,and encephalopathy.Studies have shown that circRNA expression is dysregulated in these complications and that circRNAs participate in pathological processes by modulating signaling pathways,inflammatory responses,and apoptosis-related gene expression.These findings suggest that circRNAs may serve as novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets for diabetic complications.
