摘要：薇拉.凯瑟是美国20世纪初的一位杰出女作家。在她的早期作品《波西米亚女郎》中,她第一次用怀旧的深情和赞美的笔调比较详细地回忆了故乡,抒发了浓浓的乡情,着重塑造了波西米亚女郎克拉拉的形象。本文从分析小说内容入手,探讨了女主人公和作者本人的婚姻观,指出作者的婚姻观与她小说创作中的女性人物在婚姻恋爱中的命运密切相关。
Willa Cather is one of the most famous woman writers in the first half of 20th century in the American literary history.In her early work The Bohemian Girl,she recalled her hometown with deep love and praised for the first time.In this novel she expressed her strong homesickness and created the heroine-the Bohemian girl.The essay exploreds the heroine and the writer＇s marriage by analysing the content of the novel,clarifies the viewpoint that the writer＇s attitude towards marriage was closely assosiated with the heroine＇s destiny in the novel.
