摘要：从中、西医角度对2型糖尿病胰岛素抵抗病理机制、中医证型进行概述,指出西医认为胰岛素抵抗与肥胖引起脂肪细胞体积增大关系密切,中医则认为由痰湿困脾引起,两者关系密切。
Pathological mechanism and TCM patterns of insulin resistance （IR） of type two diabetes mellitus （T2DM） were reviewed from the points of TCM and western medicine, it was pointed out that IR was closely related to obesity-inducing volume increase of adipose cells in western medicine, IR was closely related to and caused by phlegm-damp encumbering spleen in TCM.
