摘要:Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are important immune cells in the tumor micro-environment (TME) and play a key role in the occurrence and development of cervical cancer. Besides, targeting TAMs can significantly inhibit cervical cancer tumor growth, invasion, metastasis, and angiogenesis as well as affect immune regulation. This review summarizes the correlation between TAM and tumors, the mechanism of action of TAM in cervical cancer, and the potential application of TAM in the treatment of cervical cancer. Therefore, this study may provide new ideas and targets for the development of further treatment strategies for cervical cancer patients.
